Where Progress Meets People. While high-level meetings and technical sessions are critical, it’s often the casual, heartfelt moments that leave the strongest impact. On Wednesday evening, the Aruba Aquatics Federation hosted a casual get-together at Zeerovers, bringing together the delegation, local stakeholders, and members of our aquatic community for an evening of connection and appreciation.
An Evening of Stories and Smiles
With the sun setting over the Caribbean Sea, the gathering created space for reflection and informal conversation. Coaches shared stories from the week. Officials connected beyond titles. Delegates had a chance to relax and enjoy Aruba’s hospitality. The atmosphere was easygoing but meaningful.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Visitors
During the evening, the Aruba Aquatics Federation took a moment to express its gratitude. In a short address, they thanked Mr. Husain Al-Musallam and his delegation for their wisdom, time, and support, which had deeply impacted the local aquatics scene.
As a token of appreciation, the federation presented handcrafted gifts made by local artist Armando Goedgedrag—unique pieces inspired by Aruba’s natural beauty and aquatic surroundings. It was a gesture that reflected both pride in local talent and gratitude for global partnership.

Thanks to Our Media Partners
This event—and the week as a whole—was captured beautifully thanks to the efforts of OT2 Agency and Alvin Croes, who provided outstanding coverage, photography, and storytelling. Their dedication helped share the spirit of this visit with the entire community.
The evening at Zeerovers served as the perfect end of a great visit—celebrating progress made and setting the tone for the inspiring things to come. It showed that in the world of sports, relationships are just as important as results.
